Conferences are Monday, November 22 (10:30 AM – 6:30 PM) and Tuesday, November 23 (8:00 AM – noon). You can now sign up for a 15 minute virtual conference.

Reminders

October 8 In-Service: There is no school for students on Friday, October 8. All school personnel will be engaging in professional learning. 

October 11 School Recess: There is no school for anyone on Monday, October 11. This means there will also be no surveillance testing that week. We will not make up the missed date. The next surveillance test will occur on Monday, October 18. 

Chilly Champ Fun Run: The 11th Annual Chilly Champ Fun Run will be held on Saturday, November 6. Registration begins at 9:30 AM and the run starts at 10:00 AM. This PTA-sponsored event is free and open to all UMS families (and their extended families). Runners/Walkers have several choices on a developmentally appropriate course that is accessible to all ability levels.

 Today Room 11 rubbed rocks together.  

Students were finding out how weathering affects rocks.
