We had a fun afternoon!  We ate delicious snacks, played spooky bingo and made paper plate jack o'lanterns.  Have a safe evening and Happy Halloween!

Burnham Memorial Library Visit

We have the best library in Vermont!  Today's visit was so much fun!  Not only was the weather beautiful but we got to check out books!

Fire Safety

October is Fire safety month.  The Colchester Fire Department came to visit yesterday.  The fire fighters reminded us of how important it is to have safety procedures at home.

Venn Friend Diagrams

Last week we spent some time getting to know each other better by creating Venn Friend Diagrams. Students asked each other questions and then wrote down what they had in common.  Everyone loved this activity!

Welcome to Room 11!

Hello Room 11 Parents,
This is a wonderful group of second graders!  We have been very busy getting to know one another over the past several weeks.  I can't wait to meet you all at Open House this Thursday.
I want to appologize for not updating my blog sooner.  I have recently recieved an ipad for my classroom and have found it much faster than using a regular camera.  Check back for weekly updates!
