FIRE SAFETY

On Tuesday, we had two special guests from the fire department come and talk about fire safety.  They did a great job and the class loved it!

Monday we had lunch in the classroom before we headed to the Flynn.

Last Friday we had Four Winds. Everyone learned a lot about leaves!

First Few Weeks of School!

A Great First Week!

Well, our first week of school has already come and gone.  If your child was as tired as I was by the end of the week, they must have had a difficult time even staying awake through dinner.  Although the first few days are always filled with lots of discussions about routines and expectations we also managed to get in a few fun activities!  We won't be fully into our regular daily schedule until about the end of the second week.  I will try to post pictures and some blurbs that explain what we are working on and learning about!  As always, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me.  

Welcome Back To School!

Welcome to second grade!  I can't believe that summer is almost over and we will all be back together next week.  I am so excited about our upcoming school year!  We are going to be busy learning and having fun along the way!  I hope that this blog along with monthly newsletters helps to keep you informed as to what is happening in second grade.  I look forward to meeting you all on August 25th at 6:00 in Room 11 for the second grade curriculum night.  Enjoy the last few days of summer!
