Reading Buddies

Friday afternoon Room 11 joined Mrs Curkov's kindergarten class.  My wonderful second graders read a book to a kindergarten friend and then they colored bookmarks together.  I was very proud of my class.  They did a great job!

                      

                      

                      

                      

Measurement

This week we started a new unit in math.  It is all about measurement.  We started by measuring our partners height, their head size and shoe length to the nearest centimeter. 

 

                

                

                

D.A.R.E.

Officer Fontain has spent every Thursday in March teaching Room 11 about safety.  Students have learned a lot and have enjoyed his stories.
