Champ Band Day Celebration / Motion

Room 11 had another fun filled week!  We made tops, twirlers and zoomers and learned that in order to get any of these objects to move, we needed a force (push or pull). 
We filled our Champ Band Bin and celebrated with pj's and stuffed animals today. 

Balance

This week we started our new science unit on Balance.  Students learned that when something is balanced it is in a stable position.  Students also discovered that counterweights can help an object balance.  Here are pictures of us balancing a crayfish, a triangle and an arch.  We are having so much fun!
