Where did November go?
November went by so quickly! Here are some of the fun things that Room 11 experienced.
The Colchester Fire Department paid us a visit.
Colleen Hickey from Lake Champlain Basin came in and shared with us how people and animals in Colchester can affect Lake Champlain.
We made yummy homemade applesauce!!!!
We made tasty pumpkin pie and adorable turkeys!

Monarch Butterfly
On Tuesday morning, Room 11 was filled with excitement. We had a monarch butterfly waiting for us as we entered the classroom. She was beautiful and allowed almost all of us to hold her before she flew away!
What is your favorite color?
Room 11 has spent the past several weeks building a strong classroom community by getting to know one another. One of the activities we did was to make fortune tellers.

A Wonderful Surprise!
While walking with my family this morning we found five monarch caterpillars! I was so excited! My children helped me bring them to the classroom. There is one very large one and I think he will be in a chrysalis by the time we all get to school tomorrow! Can you find him in this picture?
