Harvest/Picnic

On Tuesday, 2nd graders harvested the potato plants they planted last spring and donated them to the Colchester Food Shelf.  We are great community members and love giving back.
As part of our school-wide PBIS celebration we had an October picnic lunch outside.
It was a busy day!

Conference Sign Up

Here is the link for parents to use to sign up for conferences in November.  Please remember that each child is allowed one time slot, so please plan accordingly!  I look forward to talking about all of the wonderful successes that your child has had so far this year!

Community Applesauce

Our room smelled so yummy on Friday.  Our classroom applesauce was liked by some but not by all.  At least students gave it a try!

Open House

Open House was a huge success!  Thank you all for coming out!  I am sorry if I missed getting your family picture, it was very busy at times.

Adjectives

Yesterday, we learned about adjectives using our five senses with apples.  This was a sweet treat!

UMS Book Fair

The UMS Book Fair is coming this week!  Students will preview the books on Monday and Tuesday, and they'll have a chance to start buying books on Tuesday evening from 4:30 -6:30.  Here is a link that you can use to buy items online or to set up an ewallet account so your child can buy books without having to bring money into school. Have a great day!
