Searching for non-fiction features!
Working with a partner, students spent part of reading workshop searching for non-fiction features in their books. Students then needed to write the purpose of that feature. As you can tell by the their faces they were very engaged.

Valentine Party

100th Day of School!
The 100th Day of School was so much fun! We wore 100th Day ties for Mr. Antonicci. We made arrays of 100 ants and we made 100 piece puzzles with a 100 calorie snack! I do not think it gets any better than that!

DARE
We had a visit from Officer Fontain every Tuesday afternoon in January. He reminded us how to make good choices, how to use 911 correctly and how to calm down when we are feeling angry.
Motion
During the month of January we finished our unit on Motion. Students had fun making twirlers and zoomers!
